2x-y=-7 -3x+4y=13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@triggerjoker in the first equation i.e. 2x - y = - 7 first add y to both the sides then we get 2x = -7 + y now add 7 to both the sides and you get 2x + 7 = y ____________ now place this value of y in the second equation and you would get the value of x and then place that value of x in the equation ( 2x + 7 = y ) to get the value of y

2x-y=-7 1 eqn ,-3x+4y=13 2 eqn multiple the first one by 4 which will give you 8x - 4y = -24 Hope it helped
