Two people are standing 100m apart on the bank of a river that flows due east. If a rock on the opposite bank is along a bearing of N 24°E from one person and along a bearing of N 10°W from the other person, what is the width of the river?

Because of those 90 degree relations, we can derive the inner angles of the triangle with a base of 100m. Because of the sum of the interior angles of a triangle, we also know the third angle as well.
