I found this, 

Jules Bordet (1870-1960) along with Octave Gengou discovered Bordetella pertussis in pure culture in 1906 as the actual cause of whooping cough.

All I know about this is Bordetella Pertussis is the infectious agent for the communicable disease called pertussis or the whooping cough. ^_^

Unfortunately I already have all this information. I was hoping to learn how (the actual process) they found the bacteria. (my paper is on Pertussis-whooping cough) I think I'll be up late researching! Thanks anyway guys :)
