Please help me...I recently lost my dad and he was the one to help me with math...so please!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

a=bh

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

oh my ! sry to hear that ! :'( i also lost somone used to help me so ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its ok and I am sorry 2

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

as raffle_snaffle is saying, the area of the parallelogram is Area = base times height

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the base is 67 the height is 52

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so what's the area?

OpenStudy (raffle_snaffle):

a=1/2bh for the triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the are 67 plus 52?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no, not plus times

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so you multiply (not add)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so its 3484?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

3484 is correct

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

for the triangle, you use the formula A= (1/2)*b*h so you basically find b*h first, then cut that answer in half

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3. Area of a trapezoid: A = (b + B)*h/2 Short base b = 9.5 Long base: B = 22.5 Height : h = 8. Computation: (9.5 + 22.5)* 8/2 = .... 4. The total area is the sum of 2 trapezoids: (4 + 25)*16/2 (= 232) + (15 + 25)*10/2 (= 200) = ...... 5. Are of circle A = Pi R^2, with R the radius A = 3.14* (4)^2 = 5024 6. Circumference of a circle: C = 2Pi*R or C =Pi*D , D is the diameter. C = 80 = 3.14D -> D = 80/3.14 = ..... 7) Area of circle: A = Pi R^2 = 3.15 (96)^2 = .... 8. Fencing. If the are of a square is 100 ft^2, then its side is 10. She needs to fence 4 sides,--> 4 *10 = .....ft Extra. Circumference of the tire: C = Pi*D = 3.14x 2.5 = 7.85. The number of times : x = 5,280/7.85 = .... About 637 times.
