f(x)=3^x g(x)=3^(x+1) +6 Describe the transformations from f(x) to g(x). A) left 1 and up 6 B) left 6 and up 1 C) right 6 and up 1 D) right 1 and down 6

I know it's A because +6 is six units up. But how do I know that 1 added to exponent is 1 left?

Basically what these equations mean is that f(x+1)=g(x) so, if you think about it, it basically means that whatever value the function g has at a point x, the function f has it at point x+1, hence the function is shifted one point to the left

^not sure if that makes sense couldn't really explain it through writing :p
