Adjacent angles are angles that share the same vertex and exactly one side but do not overlap. The vertex is the point in the middle, which in this case would be O. Look at your choices; <AOC and <EOA AOC shares one side (A) and the vertex (O). EOA shares one side (E) and the vertex (O). These angles are adjacent to <AOE To check this, you could try the other three options B, C, & D.
