What methods are people using to take notes? Is good old fashioned pen and paper the best method for Calculus? I have a wacom stylus pad and a mac. Any suggestions?

Pen and paper for most people. Preferably pens of two or three colors, which can be helpful for some diagrams and even some calculations (like switching in and out of u-substitutions). I've learned to use the equation editor in Microsoft Word but I doubt that many people would want to do that.

I use pen and paper for notes I will keep. But sometimes I use the Evernote application on my iPad, which allows freestyle notes, as a scratch pad to work out problems and examples.

Same method I used when taking notes at school/university - pens and paper. It worked for everything else I've done.

I use pen and paper, too. The professor is very organized, so he is easy to take notes from.

Personally, I have with my a notebook so I can write down all the lessons I have tackled such as the equations, explanations, definitions and the rest of them. I do use pens and paper in figuring out complicated problems. Hope this helps :D
