The coordinates of endpoint D in CD are at D(5,5). If the midpoint is at M(1,-1) What are the coordinates of point C? A.(3,2) B.(-3,-7) C.(-2,-6) D.(-3,-8)

The easiest way to do this is to use the midpoint formula: midpoint (x,y) = ((Dx-Cx)/2), ((Dy-Cy/2)) Dx is the x-coordinate of D, Dy is the y coordinate of D, and so on.. Since you know your midpoint, plug that in, and then plug in Dx and Dy and solve for Cx and Cy
