I do not understand how to solve an equation when it is set up like this: h/-3=4 (the h/-3 is set up like a fraction on the paper) Help please!

OpenStudy (a1234):

Multiply each side by -3. h = -12.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(h/-3) = 4 multiply both sides by -3 to get rid of the fraction. (h/-3)*-3 = 4(-3) h = -12

Thank you!
