You take the series of consecutive positive prime numbers. 2,3,5,7,11,13, 17

You add 1 to the first, subtract 2 from the second, add 3 to the third, subtract 4 from the fourth and so on.

You multiply the even terms with -1.

2+1=3
(3-2)*(-1)=-1
(5+3)=8
(7-4)*(-1)=-3

So forth. So the next term will be

17+7=24
(19-6)*(-1)=-13 etc.
