How would I draw these graphs? a. y = 2x + 4 b. y = 2x^2 - 8 c. y = x^3 - 3x^3 - 9x - 5

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

If you cannot do the first one, you have little chance on the other two. a. It is already in Slope-Intercept form. Exploit the y-intercept and the slope and you are done. b. It is already in Vertex-Form. x- and y-intercepts are trivially obtained. c. This is not written correctly. Fix it and then the y-intercept is trivial. There must be at least one (1) x-intercept, as well. Track it down.
