First of all, what do you know about recognizing / identifying a function? Once you know this, choosing the correct answer should be relatively easy. Secondly, why don't you eliminate the 2 possible answers that you think are least likely to be correct, and then focus on the remaining two?

Because isn't a function were there can only be one X and not the same.. Kinda? Like you cant have (-5, 4), (-5, 3).. Right?
