Do you see a right triangle anywhere in this picture so that you can apply the pythagorean theorem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you to me the equation?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ----(a and b are your sides and c is your hypotenuse)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

you have your sides, your just looking for your hypotenuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I looked the equation up at: https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=a%5E2+%2B+b%5E2+%3D+c%5E2+%28a+and+b+are+your+sides+and+c+is+your+hypotenuse%29 and I didn't find the solution it says zero

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

each of your sides is 90. So... 90^2 + 90^2 = c^2 8100 + 8100 = c^2 16200 = c^2 sq rt 16200 = c 127.28 (rounds to 127.3) = c any questions ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah what's the answer cause it isn't coming up

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

answer is 127.3 ft
