Try to figure out what kind of chemical reaction is likely to take place. Here's a hint: You have a reactive metal reacting with a solution containing a less reactive metallic ion. Think about that. Also, if you look at the original copper (II) sulfate solution, what does it look like? Which of the two ions in the solution is responsible for that appearance? What would happen if that ion were removed from the solution? Give this a try with the hints given.
