OpenStudy (anikate):

f(x)=log(3x+2) find the inverse of the function

OpenStudy (anikate):

satellite73!!!!!!! havent seen u in a while! HI :D lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve \[x=\log(3y+2)\] for \(y\) hi! do you know how to do that?

OpenStudy (anikate):

um no i dont know how to solve for it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

write in equivalent exponential form if the base is 10 that would be \[10^x=3y+2\] i assume the base is 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now you can solve for \(y\) by subtracting 2 and dividing by 3

OpenStudy (anikate):

hmm I'm trying to figure out how you got 10x=3y+2

OpenStudy (anikate):
