Help anyone??! Which of the following is the correct graph of the compound inequality 4p + 1 > -7 or 6p + 3 < 33?

Combine your system of equations 4p + 1 > -7 6p + 3 < 33 4p > -8 6p < 30 p > -2 p < 5 So we have -2 < p < 5. The graph probably looks like a rectangular box with the bottom at p = -2, the top at p = 5.

Oh wow I was on the right track but just forgot to divide. But thank you! And so on the graph its gonna look like open -2 going to the right and then open 5 going to the left, right?

You're welcome! Depending on which way your graph is oriented, yes. It could also be -2 at the bottom and 5 at the top.
