OpenStudy (kainui):

Have any guesses?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope I wish I did

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@KoDeKs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, alright. So, what 3D shapes do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is figure out what shape looks like a volleyball, etc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sphere

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, it's a sphere. I'm not sure why it has two blanks, I'm not sure what the other one is. But it's a sphere.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh. The volleyball has one blank, my bad.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So out of those shapes, what does the cereal box look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thoses have two blanks cuz they 2 answers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, I understand. I was under the impression that the volleyball section had two answers when it's only possible to have one. That was my mistake.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me on question 1,3 and 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can help, sure. You know what a cereal box looks like right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So on that link that I gave you, which one immediately looks like a cereal box?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm cuboid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! I know it asks for two blanks, honestly the only other one I think it could be is the cube. It's stretching it, but it's the only other four sided figure in there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok what about 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, pyramids. What two shapes look like a pyramid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Square-based pyramid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yup, and what other one could it possibly be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

triangular-based pyramid

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay what about 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What two shapes can look like a tent?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be triangular prism and idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So this one, look at the triangular prism. The other one is a cone (think a tipi-tent)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx can U help me on one more thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can take a look at it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Describe how the figures are alike. Describe how the figures are different. Hexagonal prism and Octagonal prism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, they are both prisms. But they have two different amounts of sides. Hex means 6, oct means 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks for ur help
