While there are many pictures of Franklin Roosevelt , there are very few of him in his wheelchair o using his braces and his cane. Why do you think there aren't many of these pictures?

Roosevelt was a very strong willed person and didn't like having the public seeing him in a wheelchair or having to depend on braces because of his polio. He often pulled himself out of his own chairs and forced himself to stand in public than rely on others to do it for him. It was the kind of persona he wanted to project to the rest of the world -- someone without any obvious weakness and the strength of will to overcome his own personal issues.
