please help!

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

"sum of a number and seven" x+7 "Three times the sum of a number and seven " 3(x+7) "five times the number" 5x "two less than five times the number" 3x+7 is 2 less than 5x, or if you subtract 2 from 3(x+7) you will get 5x. SO.. 3(x+7)-2=5x

thank you very much
