4/3?
Yeah there we go !
just remember SOHCAHTOA, that's all
can u help with more but just don't tell me the answer straight up
@ninamarie the other way, the opposite side is 8, AND adjacent side is 6.
What is sin B?
@Mason_Jones573 SURE !!

your formula is tan x= opp/adj in this case, you have your opposite and your adjacent. which is 8/6 divide them and use the inverse tan button on your calculator to get your answer, you should get 53.1
yeah whoops had to modify that one lol
\(\Huge\color{blue}{ \sf Sin(B)=\frac{opposite }{hypotenuse}=?}\)
hypotenuse is 5?
YES
So what is Sin(B) ?
what is the opposite?
The opposite side to angle B |dw:1396378890115:dw|
So what is the opposite side? And what is Sin(B) equal to ?
0.8?
Yeah, but give me a fraction please.
Writing these functions as fractions is a little better.
8/10
so 4/5
