What are the functions of the uterus and vagina in therian mammals?

thomaster (thomaster):

They're female sex organs. The vagina's function is facilitation of intercourse and childbirth. So like a pathway for male gametes to the uterus, and for a child from the uterus to the exit of the female reproductive tract. The uterus is where the fetus develops after an egg cell has been fertilized by a sperm cell.
