OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

What association would you expect if graphing number of hours worked and money earned? A. Negative B. Linear C. Nonlinear D. None of these

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

@amistre64 @blues @clarkydances @dancer_2 @Elise_a18 @foreverjennnicole @Gabylovesyou @handyandy3 @iPwnBunnies Can someone help me???

OpenStudy (amistre64):

which one are you leaning towards and why?

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Im thinking Linear because i think the hours and the money are going to be like a line to each other???

OpenStudy (amistre64):

linear is what i would pick too .. assume you make $1 for 1hr, you get a plot of points as (0,0) (1,1) (2,2) ... which is just the line y=x

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if its a trick question and we assume that if 1.5 hours is paid as 1 hour, or 2 hours ... then we have a step pattern that aint linear but thats just over thinking it

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

What do you think @clarkydances ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think that the line would go up. its either c or d

OpenStudy (hoblos):

i go with linear too, if you earn m$ per hour, the money earned will be m times number of hours y = m x which is a linear equation

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

Thanks @hoblos, @clarkydances and @amistre64 :)
