Find the mode and the median of the data in the stem-and-leaf plot below. A no mode; 73 B 63; 73.5 C 54; 73 D no mode; 73.5
the numbers on the right side of the line is the first number and the numbers on the left are the second numbers. for example, you have 3|7 that means 37. you have 3| 7 8 9 which means the numbers are 37 38 and 39
OK here is my other question
its on top of your previous post
C. because the mode is the number that shows up the most and that is 54

In a recent survey of middle school students about pizza toppings, it was found that 25 students like pepperoni pizza, 31 like banana peppers pizza, and 5 liked both pepperoni and banana peppers on their pizza. If 66 students were surveyed, how many students do not like banana peppers on their pizza? (1 point) 20 34 31 25
well that doesnt make any sense because when you add the numbers up they surveryed 61 people. but i would say 25. im not positive though i would post it as another question
i got one more question keeps on bugging me
The back-to-back stem-and-leaf plot below shows the ages of patients seen by two doctors in a family clinic in one day. Compare the ages of the patients of Doctor 1 and Doctor 2 using the mean and the median of each data set.
is this a multiply choice question?
no its one of those write it on a separate sheet paper kind of question
okay im not going to do this for you because its very long lol but what you have to do is find the mean of both sets of numbers and compare them. you find the mean by adding all the numbers up and dividing by the amount of numbers there are.
the median is the number in the middle, if you get 2 numbers, find the mean of those 2 numbers
ok thanks for your help
no problem (:
