What is the equivalent resistance of a circuit that contains four 75.0 resistors connected in series to a 100.0 V battery?

This is the formula for calculating the overall resistance for resistors in a series:\[R _{effective}=\sum_{1}^{n}R _{i}=R _{1}+R _{2}+...R _{n}\]where n is the total number of resistors.
so i would just add 75.0+100.0?
100 is the voltage, not a resistance. Remember you have 4 75 ohm resistors, so you need to do the sum:\[R _{1}+R _{2}+R _{3}+R _{4}\]
