Fan and medal!! Idea for very simple computer program with flow control?

I am to write my own problem that requires some flow control. It's not worth much to mention, but I am learning very very basic Ruby coding and I just need a simple idea.

Some ideas in the course were things such this problem: a newspaper wants a demographic program for online readers, where the user's birth year is requested and is determined assigned to Pre-boomers, Baby Boomers, etc.

Another idea was to request a user's grade and then the computer program tells them which division they are in (for example, if you type in '12', the program tells you you are a Senior (in high school)).

I would like an idea similar to these, but I can't seem to think of one for over an hour. If anyone could give me an idea where I could do a "sorting" or "grouping" idea like this, I would appreciate it very much!! Just something simple, like, determine a student's grade depending on their mark out of 100%, etc. Thank you very much!! I'm not sure why I'm so stumped on this question.
