A triangle has a base of 13 meters and a height of 6 meters. What is the area of the triangle? A. 156 square meters B. 169 square meters C. 39 square meters D. 78 square meters
@Destinymasha @ganeshie8 @zepdrix
the area of a triangle is equal to one half of its base times its height\[A=\frac{bh}{2}\]
i still dont understand
the area of a triangle = the base x the height, divided by 2, so 13 x 6 -divided by 2
the question asks you to find the area. I just gave you the formula for area in terms of base an height. the question states the base and height, so plug those into the formula.
\[\text{area}=\frac{\text{base}\times \text{height}}{2}\]
Do you understand? @freakenpurplepizza
