what happens when Zn and 2HCl reacts? I know you get ZnCl2 + H2, but what happens during the reaction? :)

Sink is oxidized, it loses two electrons and two H+ ions in HCl-solution Accept electrons and forms H2-molecule. Hydrogen is reduced.
