i have been given an equation 2y+3x=7 it says now i have to draw a graph of it and find out the gradient :) i know how to drsw graph but?? how do i even solve the equation using the x/y table.??? and gradient pleaseee help

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I suspect that you're using the word "gradient" where common usage in the USA would be "slope." If that's the case, look carefully at your graph and determine the "rise" and "run". rise The slope / gradient is merely m = ------- run

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Why not draw your graph here? Use the Draw utility.

OpenStudy (mathmale):

In multivariable or vector calculus, it certainly is! But the task of graphing an equation such as 2y+3x=7 is not found in such a course.
