In your garden, you are growing several plants of the species Florus imaginarium. You have observed that some of the individuals have leaves with rounded tips and others have leaves with pointed tips. One of these traits is dominant and the other is recessive. Assuming all the plants in your garden are true-breeding, how would you go about determining which trait is dominant and which is recessive?

2 capital letters means it's dominant. 1 capital letter and one 1 lower case mean it's dominant, because upper case overpowers the lower case. 2 lower case letters means it's recessive and doesn't have the trait. there are exceptions! if you have 2 of the same letter it's homozygous. think homo=same. if they're different, it's heterozygous.
