B is the closest answer....The Qur'an does not contain the teachings of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu-alayhi-wasallam, rather the direct words of Allah Subhanahu-wa-ta'ala. The teachings were passed to the Muslim Ummah through the Prophet and his practices.
