Within this membrane, is the cytoplasm which is composed of the fluid and organelles of the cell. Bacteria (Kingdom Monera) are prokaryotes. They do have DNA, but it is not organized into a true nucleus with a nuclear envelope around it.

 They carry out specific functions within the cell Organelles are components of the cell which perform a definite function inside it. They can be compared to organs in the body or machines in a factory. There are many organells inside a cell examples are: endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes, mitochodria, vaccoules etc.
