Area of full circle C = Pi*R^2 = 18^2*Pi = 324 Pi = 1017.36 Area of (shaded area - triangle) : 270*Pi*(300/360) = 270*Pi = 847.8 (1) Triangle: The height of an equilateral triangle is equal to a*V3/2 Area of triangle: (18)*9V3/2 = 81*V3 = 140.30 Shaded area [( 1) + triangle] = 847.8 + 140.30 = 988.10
