Larry has a gift card worth $400 for a local entertainment store. Movies cost $20 each and newly released video games cost $50 each. In order to use the gift card, Larry must purchase at least nine items. Which is a combination of movies and newly released video games that Larry could purchase using his gift card?

10 movies and 5 video games $200 + $200 = $400 and 15 items

Yes, of course they are all equal to 400. That's the whole point of the question - to spend the $400 gift card and get the most number of things. Take b as an example. 10 movies = $200 4 video games = $200 That's 14 items. But c is 20 items for the same $400. 20 is more than 14. a is 11 items, d is 17 items. 20 is more than all of them. This isn't hard, just stop and THINK about it a second.
