Can someone help me with this gene probability question? http://prntscr.com/36sdp1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why? @DVReed96

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at it, it's at 50% right now so the next era will split it, will it not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But its a carrier not color-blind. @DVReed96

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's alleles are Cc.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well colorblindesness is a sex linked gene, so you shouldnt be looking at the alleles like Cc,CC,or cc, you should be looking at the X and Y chromosomes. Men are XY and women are XX. Colorblindness is linked to the "X" chromosome, so you can only pass it on if you have and X chromosome. SO the punet square would look like this |dw:1396591158859:dw|
