Check my answers 1)Excessive fishing and encroachment may lead to: *improvement expansion extinction thermal pollution 2)Fish can be killed by a sudden increase in water: *temperature level density color 3)Waste water from nuclear power plants is generally: cold muddy radioactive *warm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say 1 is extinction and 3 is radioactive

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah 1 is extinction, 2 is Temperature so it is correct, and 3 is also correct

OpenStudy (petiteme):

Well it is (1)extinction. Excessive fishing will not let the small fishes to reproduce because they will be harvested right away. (2)I'd say temperature (3)I'd say radioactive. That's what we get from nuclear power plants.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but in the process of nuclear powerplants the water doesnt actually touch the uraniumm, it simlpy cools the container. However because it cools that means the water gets hot and when it is released back into anotherwater source it is cause for thermal pollution. so 3) is most likely thermal Pollution

OpenStudy (petiteme):

Oh got it ^_^
