which answer correctly explains why most factories were located along the eastern coast?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here are the choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1: the first factories took over ship building areas 2: shipping companies were the first to switch to factory building. 3:early factories needed sea water for processing raw materials 4:sea ports facilitated shipping goods and receiving raw materials

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is #3

OpenStudy (jack1):

which continent we talkin bout?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it does not say

OpenStudy (jack1):

which continent r u from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh north america

OpenStudy (jack1):

cools, then i'd guess a combination of 1 and 4, mostly 4, as the difficulty in shipping large amounts of raw timber along the "roads"back then would make the coastal factories near the shipyards seem a pretty nice option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnx man

OpenStudy (jack1):

all good dude, hope it's right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
