What is a good video production program to get?

Piracy also happens to be illegal and promoting it in a forum like Openstudy violates the Code of Conduct. Information /= commercial products. That said, Premier is actually pretty good if can learn to work with it - there's tons of tutorials out there that are actually free to use. If you're a student, you can even get a student version (basically the full version, only cheaper) of most software. One of the perks in being one. If you're on the Mac, Final Cut Pro is also quite good but also incredibly expensive. If you're on Windows, you can download Microsoft Movie Maker for free ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker#t1=overview). If you need a list of free stuff (not pirated), this can also get you started: http://www.techradar.com/us/news/software/applications/best-free-video-editing-software-9-top-programs-you-should-download-1136264

Adobe is a great video production program. Like captain said it has premier and it will take practice master it . However it has many more apps that can help you and make your post production much more organized and efficient. I'll leave you a link so check it out, because it has great deals for students.
