Can someone please help me with geometry!!
What is the question
sure
What is the length of the bar AC? 6 sin 60° 6 cos 60° 6 by cos 60 degrees 6 by tan 60 degrees
easy nd btw im a 6th grader lol
noot sure i dont want to be wrong
Do you know soh cah toa
I think it is 6 by tan 60 degrees
But how would you work it out?
this should help because it is a 30 60 90 triangle just plug in your terms
if the hypotenuse is 2x and we are given the measurement it means that: 2x=6 then solve for x and you have the length of AC
So would the length of AC be 3?
Im not sure lol im only a 6th grader thats good at math sometimes if they need an aswer respond with something that has to do with degreees
Yes
Which would be equal to 6 by cos 60 degrees?
Just start with the triangle. I assume you are working on sin cos and tan Here is the drawing 'simplified': |dw:1396636720652:dw| The adjacent is AC One of those formulae will give you the equation to find Adjacent you know theta(60) and H (6ft)
So the answer should be 6 by cos 60 degrees?
@MrNood
yes lol it should my teacher said yes
Yes. And cos 60 = ?
3?
Yup
Great job.
