For the hyperbola represented by: [(y+2)^2/4 - [x^2]/12=1 find the foci and vertices

The equation is symmetric about the y axis so the y value is 0 for all points. I can't help you with the rest though.

I read too fast. It's symmetric about y+2=0 i.e. y=-2 so the y value is -2 for all of the points.

And I wrote y axis though I meant the x axis.

Thanks!
