OpenStudy (music_is_my_love):

find the volume of a cone with the height of 11in and base of 6in. 320in 1244in 415in 622in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you still need help?

OpenStudy (music_is_my_love):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so the basic formula for finding the volume of a cone is Volume = (1/3)(pi)(r^2)(h)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it give you the radius?

OpenStudy (music_is_my_love):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well then its referring to the base as pi(r^2) so in your case thats 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V= (1/3)(6)(1), but that would give you the value of V =3 so this can't be right. Do they give you a diagram or did you post the whole question?
