@phi
any ideas ?
B?
are you saying if you add up those changes you get 0 ?
Well I thought that none of them made sense because we don't know the price for any of them yet. And the price change is the one that we are focusing on.

I think by "the zero" they mean the starting price at the start of the week. "the zero" does not mean the price is zero, it means the changes are relative to a starting point.
The question is asking about the zero in 0.35 and all the other numbers with the zeros in it.
based on the choices, it is not asking about the leading zero in for example 0.35
It is. I asked my teacher.
Let's think about it this way. At the end of Monday, the price change is +0.35 that means the price went up 0.35 above its starting price. at the end of the week the total of the changes is -1.09 notice we have +0.35 Monday night and -1.09 on Thursday night. what does the 0 (between those numbers) represent ?
I don't get it.
can you answer the question we have +0.35 Monday night and -1.09 on Thursday night. what does the 0 (between those numbers) represent ?
No
what does +0.35 at the end of Monday mean ?
I chose B. Now I wanna know if I am correct or incorrect.
Good Luck
I don't understand by what you mean good luck.
Sorry but your teacher misinformed you. zero is referring to the starting price at the beginning of the week. +0.35 on Monday means the price has increased by 0.35 or 35 cents from the day before.
