OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

What data must you know about the isotopes of an element to calculate the atomic mass of the element?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First of all Isotopes are basically the same element with different numbers of neutrons and Atomic mass is the sum of Protons and Neutrons so you need to know both (especially neutrons in the case of isotopes)

OpenStudy (highschoolmom2010):

thanks @KL-RC
