The five artifacts you choose will help you illustrate the cultural changes of the 1920s. Out of the five, you must have an artifact for each of the following: • Prohibition • Harlem Renaissance • Fundamentalism • New Roles for Women • The fifth artifact can be one of your choosing.

1. A bottle of bootleg whiskey. 2. A book written by a famous African American from the Harlem Renaissance era. 3. Fundamentalism is the demand for a strict adherence to orthodox theological doctrines usually understood as a reaction against Modernist theology, see if you can gather something from this. 4. New roles for women? Well, a Rosie the Riveter poster is a fine example! 5. Be creative with this one! c:
