In informative/explanatory writing, you are obviously going to look through the Internet for information and more facts on your topic. In text citations make sure that you cite your source so it doesn't look like you plagiarized. It tells you where you got the information from and gives credit to the author.

:D Prcise language is to show that you understand the topic, it accurately states what you are talking about.

Domain specific is the language of the computer and it like shows the specific problem you are addressing, I believe.
