A spinner with eight equal sections numbered 1 through 8 is to be spun once. What is the probability that the arrow will stop on 1 or a number greater than 6? A=1/32 B=3/8 C=1/2 D=5/8

This is the same logic as in the previous question I answered. You are interested in P(land on 1 OR land on a number > 6) = P(land on 1) + P(land on a number > 6) Can you figure out the next steps?
