explain how naming a segment and naming a line are similar. How are they different?

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

A line is infinitely long. It doesn't have "endpoints". But a segment is of finite length, so it does have "endpoints".

OpenStudy (kirbykirby):

A segment would be names using the endpoints. But a line you can name is based on any points contained on the line.
