determine whether the points (5,-6,10) and (3,3,8) are on the line x= 2+t , y=3-3t , z= 4+2t

hartnn (hartnn):

x,y,z = 5,-6,10 plug these in your line and see if you get same values of 't'

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for x I should plug in 5, y -6 and so on, and after that I go to the next point, 3,3,8 and do the same?

hartnn (hartnn):

absolutely :)

thank you!
