\(#3\) Which bryophytes can prepare its own food? A) Liverworts \(\color{red}{\huge ✗}\) B) Hornworts \(\color{green}{◯}\) C) Mosses \(\color{green}{◯}\) D) Tracheophytes ≠ brophytes \(\color{red}{\huge ✗}\) The green \(\color{green}{◯}\) shows which bryophytes prepare its own food. The red \(\color{red}{\huge ✗}\) shows what is wrong. Cryptothallus (liverworts) CANNOT produce its own food due to lacking chlorophyll, so it relies on a fungal partner for food. Thus A is wrong. Tracheophytes are not bryophytes, thus D is wrong. (Sorry for replying twice, I had an accidental mistake and I had to fix it!)
