Is this the only section used on here? Can I ask my English question here since there's like no one in the English section doing anything. I was just confused by a question on a study guide. It's multiple choice and I got it down to two choices.

I'd definitely go with "think about questions you want answered."  "Write a thesis" is work at a higher, more challenging, level.
