Describe how the graph of each function is related to a basic trigonometric graph. y=0.5cos(3x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to make the graph but I don't know what is supposed to be in the "description"

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Are there any more functions, or is y=0.5cos(3x) the only one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=0.5cos(3x) is the only one. And I know how to figure out the amplitude, period, phase shift, etc; I just don't know what goes inside the description of the graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like do I write the graph is blue, the graph is red, lol you know what i mean?

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

Well, I guess you just describe the amplitude, perios, phase shift, etc.. I dunno. I don't think I've had any problems like this one before :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright man, thanks for the help :)
